The CanAg ProGRP EIA assay is a simple one-step immunoassay for the quantitative measurement of the stable precursor to Gastrin Releasing Peptide (ProGRP). The assay utilizes a biotinylated polyclonal antibody specific for ProGRP and mouse monoclonal E146 antibody labelled with horseradish peroxidase in the measurement of the antigen. The polyclonal antibody (affinity purified) is directed against the ProGRP 31-98 peptide region. The epitope recognized by the E146 monoclonal antibody is within the ProGRP AA48-53 peptide region.
